WALKING WITH GOD

As we read God's Word, we see "how" we are to walk as believers.

Walk as children of light ~

Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Walk in the Spirit

~ Galatians 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

 

 

Walk diligently in wisdom ~

Ephesians 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

 

 

Walk uprightly ~

Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

 

 

Walk in God's truth ~

Psalm 86:11 Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

 

Walk in His ways ~

Psalm 119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways

Walk humbly with God ~

Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

 

 

Walk in newness of life ~

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

 

Walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit ~

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

 

 

Walk honestly ~

Romans 13:13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

 

 

Walk by faith not by sight ~

2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight:

 

 

Walk unto good works ~

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

 

 

Walk worthy of your vocation ~

Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

 

Walk in love ~

Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

 

Walk worthy of the Lord ~

Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God

Walk in the fear of the Lord ~

Nehemiah 5:9 Also I said, It is not good that ye do: ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the heathen our enemies?

 

 

Walk in His statutes ~

Ezekiel 20:19 I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them;

 

 

Walk in His ordinances ~

Leviticus 18:4 Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.

 

 

Walk in the way God commands ~

Deuteronomy 5:33 Ye shall walk in all the ways which the LORD your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and [that it may be] well with you, and [that] ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.

 

 

Walk in all His ways ~

Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

 

 

Walk before God with all your heart ~

2 Chronicles 6:14 And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:

 

 

Walk in the way God shows ~

Jeremiah 42:3 That the LORD thy God may shew us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we may do.

Walk in a way that pleases God ~

1 Thessalonians 4:1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

Walk with a perfect heart

~ Psalm 101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Walk in the Spirit ~

Walk in truth ~ 3 John 1:3-4

For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

Walk in wisdom ~
