TRUSTING GOD IN EVERYTHING
It is easy to trust God during the good times in life but God also wants our trust when the storms of life come. We must trust His sovereignty. God is fully aware of the difficulties of life that we face and He is actively involved in bringing about His purposes in them. Throughout Scripture we see how and why we can trust Him. The following Bible verses give insight on why we can trust Him.
HE IS MY ROCK
2 Samuel 22:3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
HIS WAY IS PERFECT
2 Samuel 22:31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
HE WON'T FORSAKE HIS OWN
Psalms 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
HE WILL PRESERVE HIS OWN
Psalms 16:1 Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
HE IS MY DELIVERER
Psalms 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
HE IS MY STRENGTH AND SHIELD
Psalms 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
HE IS GOOD
Psalms 31:19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!
HE GIVES MERCY
Psalms 32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
HE GIVES JOY
Psalms 33:21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
HE REDEEMS
Psalms 34:22 The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
HE WILL DIRECT
Psalms 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
HE CALMS OUR FEARS
Psalms 56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
HE IS OUR REFUGE
Psalms 62:8 Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.
HE GIVES PEACE
Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
HE IS A STRONG HOLD IN TROUBLE
Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
