TELL JESUS
As we walk life's path, we are not guaranteed a life void of trials and troubles. But, we are promised that God will go with us step by step. In fact He will walk with us right to death. So as we face the storms of life we should exercise the privilege of coming to the throne of grace and "telling Jesus" our every concern. The following are just a few of the concerns we can bring to Him along with Scripture to go with them....so, begin today to....Tell Jesus:
YOUR CARES ~ 1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
YOUR ANXIETIES ~ Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
YOUR NEEDS ~ Matthew 6:25-34 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: 29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
YOUR FEARS ~ Isaiah 41:13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
YOUR NEED FOR DIRECTION ~ Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
YOUR NEED FOR PEACE ~ Isaiah 26:3-4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
YOUR NEED FOR STRENGTH ~ Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
YOUR NEED FOR COURAGE ~ Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
YOUR DISCOURAGEMENT'S ~ Psalms 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.
YOUR WORRIES ~ Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
YOUR CONFUSION ~ Isaiah 50:7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
YOUR NEED FOR INSTRUCTION ~ Psalms 32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
YOUR NEED OF PATIENCE ~ Psalms 27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
YOUR GRIEF'S ~ Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
YOUR FINANCIAL TROUBLES ~ Psalms 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
YOUR LONELINESS ~ Psalms 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
YOUR NEED FOR COMFORT ~ John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
YOUR TEMPTATIONS ~ 2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations...
YOUR NEED TO LIVE RIGHTEOUS ~ Psalms 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
