GOD'S WORD AND THE HEART

From Genesis to Revelation we can read about the Heart of man. The word "heart" is mentioned 765 times. As you read the Scriptures, you can see the various descriptions given on the subject. Below are just a few of the references. Take time to read and reflect on them. Spend time thanking God for the "new heart" He gives to us when we accept Him as our personal Savior.

EVIL HEART

~ Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

GRIEVED HEART

~ Genesis 6:6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

MURDEROUS HEART

TREMBLING HEART

WISE AND UNDERSTANDING HEART

~ 1 Kings 3:12 Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

SOUND HEART

~ Psalms 119:80 Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

MELODIOUS HEART

ESTABLISHED HEART

MERRY HEART

PERFECT HEART

PURE HEART

~ Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

TRUE HEART ~

REJOICING HEART

GLAD HEART
