GOD'S WILL FOR BELIEVERS

 

God's Word instructs the believer in knowing and doing God's will. As we read and meditate on God's Word, we will see what He says concerning His will. When we obey these instructions, we will see His will opened up for us step by step. What is God's will for the believer?

Romans 12:1-2

That you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable unto God.

That you not be conformed to this world.

That you be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Romans 15:32

That you be refreshed with joy.

II Corinthians 8:5

That you give yourself to the Lord.

II Corinthians 10:5

That you cast down imaginations

That you bring every thought into captivity

II Corinthains 12:9

That you realize the sufficiency of God's grace

That you glory in your infirmities

Ephesians 4:4

That you walk worthy of the vocation to which ye were called

Ephesians 6:6

That you serve God from the heart.

Colossians 4:12

That you stand perfect and complete in Him. 

I Thessalonians 4:3

That you be sanctified.

That you abstain from fornication

I Thessalonians 4:18

That you give thanks in everything.

Hebrews 10:36

That you patiently do His will. 

I Peter 2:11-15

That you abstain from fleshly lusts.

That your Christ like behavior will put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.

That you would be submissive for the Lord's sake.

I Peter 3:17

That you suffer for doing right rather than for doing evil.

I Peter 4:1-2

That you would arm yourself with the mind of Christ.

That you should no longer live the rest of your life in the flesh, but doing God's will.

I Peter 4:19

That when you suffer, you commit the keeping of your souls to God, your faithful Creator.

I John 2:17

That you will realize that you will abide forever if you do God's will.
